Grade R

Every week we go on a unique adventure, where our teacher shares information and shows us pictures. We travel through space and get to know wild animals — maybe one day we’ll win lots of quiz competitions!

Our outings are full of fun and excitement — from police dogs to a special two-legged animal! There are so many opportunities to learn interesting things. We love school so much that we just can’t help ourselves.

Inside and outside the classroom, we learn through play — becoming clever while learning how to share. We draw, cut, paint, tear, and paste — our creative tasks are something we’re proud of!

The annual fundraising event is organized by our wonderful parents — this special bake sale never disappoints. With moms and dads helping to bake cookies for the market, the Grade R learners’ dreams come true with a beautiful new playground.

We celebrate special days like Christmas and Valentine’s Day — it feels like family, because we can laugh together too. At Mikro Primary School, every day is a celebration as we build our values and become the best we can be.
