Choir

Mikro Primary School’s Junior and Senior Choirs have long been a source of pride for the school.

These choirs perform regularly at a variety of venues, with some of the most popular performances taking place at Panorama, Brackenfell, Bastion, Bellville High School, and the Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre. They also enjoy singing at local retirement homes, bringing joy to senior citizens in the community.

Each year, the N.G. Church Kuilsrivier-Suid congregation invites the choirs to perform during a special service. The choirs actively participate in competitions, including the Tygerberg International Eisteddfod (TIE), Wes-Boland and Stellenbosch Eisteddfods, as well as the ATKV Choir Competition.

Under the guidance of skilled choir directors who lead weekly rehearsals, these learners continue to develop their talent and cultivate a lasting love for choral singing.
