Visual arts cover a wide range of creative practices. We learn a variety of techniques and skills, basic concepts, and how to express ourselves creatively. In the art class, a relaxed atmosphere is maintained where every learner feels safe to develop their creativity. We learn from one another, respect each other’s different ideas, and appreciate the art that is created.
The art classroom is the ideal environment to develop problem-solving skills through hands-on learning experiences. Learners develop the ability to give constructive feedback as well as to receive advice.
At Mikro Primary, we have a passion for art in all its forms, and learners enjoy the artwork we create here. Living out Mikro’s values is an integral part of the art class. We share in each other’s creativity while caring for and respecting one another with integrity.
Mikro Primary also offers after-school art classes, where learners have the opportunity to further feed their imagination through projects that provide visual and tactile experiences.
