Mikro Primary is a family orientated school where parents and educators create an environment in which every child can still be a child. Through mother-tongue education, we shape a balanced child for the future and empower learners with our values: generosity, integrity, respect, and compassion. Christoffel Hermanus Kühn
The school community named the school after C.H. Kühn, a former resident of Kuilsriver, the principal of Kuilsriver High School (now known as De Kuilen High School), and a well-known author of more than 100 youth novels under the pseudonym MIKRO.
The collection of books he wrote is preserved in the “Mikro Cabinet” at the school.
