“Tomorrow’s leaders have a mouth full of gold.”

Orators at Mikro Primary School form a vibrant and dynamic part of the school’s cultural life.

Our mission is to promote excellent language skills among learners while providing opportunities to speak confidently in front of public audiences—a skill that benefits them for life.

Learners develop their social and communication skills through participation in a variety of competitions, including ATKV, Oppie Tong Af, Podiumpret, and the Eisteddfod. On average, 12–15 learners represent the school in each competition, achieving numerous podiums finishes in recent years and gaining nationwide exposure. Since 2020, learners have also had the opportunity to participate online, further enhancing their skills in new formats.

Delivering a persuasive yet engaging speech is not only a key skill for future leaders but also opens doors to professional opportunities. Through this program, Grade 3 to 7 learners build self-confidence, critical thinking, and leadership qualities.

Any learner with a love for language and a desire to use it as a powerful tool is welcome to join. Participants have the chance to explore current issues, reason logically, and express informed opinions. Our orators proudly serve as ambassadors of Mikro Primary School, exemplifying excellence in communication and leadership.
